Arrangements / Hospitality

The Hospitality Committee is key to planning successful Chapter events. This committee ensures that a facility with appropriate meeting rooms and food is available for each monthly meeting, annual seminar and all other special meetings called throughout the year. Committee members work in conjunction with the Membership Committee to assist in providing a "warm welcome" to all members and guests who attend the Chapter meetings and functions, and ensure photographs are taken of all such activities.
If you are interested in serving on the committee, please contact the Hospitality Committee Chair for more information.

Community Service

We are changing things up a bit in 2015/16.  Instead of the monthly 50/50 raffle, we will be offering a couple of community service volunteer opportunities.  This effort will be led by our long-term member and holder of several different board positions, Michelle Paluch.  If you have any suggestions for potential community service opportunities, please send an email to armaadmin@armachicago.org.

Membership

ARMA Chicago offers its members the opportunity to network with records and information managers, archivists, imaging specialists, librarians and vendors while sharing best practices and learning about the latest industry developments. The Membership Committee, working in cooperation with our Board Members, is responsible for increasing the number of individual and institutional members and ensuring the retention of these members through the offering of services that meet their needs. Whether we are making prospective and current members aware of the resources, services, and membership benefits or recommending ways to acknowledge new members and encourage participation in ARMA Chicago activities, our primary goals are to ensure that each member feels welcomed and develop methods to maximize the benefits for all of our members. Contact the membership team at armaadmin@armachicago.org with any questions.
